Andrea Krugmann de Oliveira

My goal as a midwife is to support women and their families individually during the special period of life of a pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium, and to give them security and trust through professional competence and empathy.

Born in 1973 in Salvador, Brazil, I moved to Italy where I lived for 17 years and at the end of 2008 I moved to Berlin.
Due to my personal situation, it is an opportunity for me to work with Call a Midwife as I can continue my passion as a midwife.
The desire to work as a midwife grew from my interest in medical and psychological topics. For this reason, after my two boys grew up, still in Italy, I decided to study midwifery. I completed my studies and all internships at the University Hospital in Bologna, where I also worked in the administrative department. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Midwifery on November 13, 2007. In 2013 I became mother for the third time and I experienced a home birth for the first time.I hope to hear from you soon and to be able to help you as best I can online.
