Pregnancy and Birth have always fascinated me and being a midwife I feel honored to support and care for women and couples in this very special time of their lives.
As a midwife in Berlin I care for women throughout pregnancy, birth and the postpartum time, as well as giving breastfeeding support.
While traveling the world and working with midwives abroad, I have already worked with pregnant women of many nationalities and cultures and look forward to care for women all over the world through call a midwife.

After having completed a degree in music, and the birth of my son, I decided to become a midwife. For me, music and the ability to bring life to life are the two of greatest miracles of life. Since 2000, I have been working as a midwife in a clinic, in obstetrics, and working freelance to help women during and after their pregnancy. I am looking forward to working with Call a Midwife. Also to help and support women and couples from different countries, in particular from my home, Portugal, with my knowledge and experience. My passion for languages works perfectly in conjunction with this.

Dear pregnant ladies, mothers (or moms),

I have been a midwife for 27 years now and have over the years specialised in the subject of bonding. This includes, amongst other things, the issue of family-friendly sleeping. Another of my hobbies is the resource-oriented viewing of a birth or lactation that is often seen as a negative or traumatic experience. Otherwise, I look forward to advising you with all my knowledge.

As a midwife in Berlin I have been looking after families from the early pregnancy time up to the end of the 1st year of the baby, for many years. This is a unique time, full of new experiences and so should be accompanied in a competent and sensitive way. It is great and exciting to get in touch with other countries and women through call a midwife at any time.

I work as a midwife and I am here on call a midwife to discover and to gain new experiences. I work on home delivery, antenatal courses, and on aftercare. It is important for me to add science and natural medicine into my work. Due to the versatility of the midwife occupation, I feel this work is exciting and I’m glad to have this opportunity.
